Tying Knots

How many ropes tie their knots
Or snap at the ends
Failing under the stress
They are

Red Onions
Five AM
Her knife spills juice
That stings my eyes
Put them into

Dead Dogs
Roasting in bread
Floating deer heads
He sells them at the stand
Walking to

The railroad tracks
From Baltimore to Ohio
The stress, he is falling into a
Large gap

Woman in her chair
Her rope has been tired
Knot, mine is
Knot secure
